1 — MLB Baseball.  ESPN.  Cards take game 1.   Jason Motte finished a 3-2 win. But Game 1 involved one right move after another by Tony La Russa by Jayson Stark.

2 — Football.  MN High School.  Final games of the regular season.  In the battle of two undefeated squads, Wayzata shut out Eden Prairie 9-0.  Other high school round up can be found here.

3 — NBA.  Lockout.  Mike Beasley All Star Game at Osseo.  Tip Off at 7 pm tomorrow.  Huge list of NBA stars, up close and personal.  Kevin Durant, John Wall, Kevin Love.

4 — Vikings.  Ponder.  “Ponder in for now and the long haul” by Star Trib. He will start his career with 2 starts versus the 5-0 Super Bowl Champion Packers in 3 weeks.

5 — Vikings.  Stadium.  “Dayton calls stadium blitz” by Star Trib.  The clock is ticking for a stadium deal this fall.

6 — Vikings.  List of Vikings Starting QB’s from 1961 to Present.  Not an impressive list as a whole.  From Pioneer Press.

7 — Gophers.  Football.  “Stretch run critical is gauging long term success” by ESPN 1500. Gophers have Nebraska on Saturday.  Oh boy.  How quick will this get ugly?

8 — NFL.  Handshake Gate.  Alot has been made about the handshake between the two fiery coaches, but profootballtalk.com might have found the source of the issue.  “Penalty on Harbough may have started fued with Schwartz“.

9 — Video of the Day.  Andrew Luck Heisman Candidate Highlights.  Wow he can play.
